'Le Domaine des Sources; a paradise to recharge.

Who we are:  Jacques and Marleen. We come from West Flanders, the westernmost province in Belgium, and moved to the outskirts of Brussels where we ran a butcher-caterer business.

We used to spend our annual holidays roaming around Normandy. Peace and quiet, fresh air, green pastures, apple trees, cows… Anything but a cliché here!
Gradually the idea of moving to France caught on and we decided to set up and run a gîte and guest house in Normandy.

Our meanderings took us to Montviette, a small village in Calvados, a true picture postcard of the Pays d’Auge! Montviette is very close to Livarot, known the world over for its cheese!
So, we ended up settling down at the Domaine des Sources, -2007 years ago already! We are as enthusiastic as ever about looking after our guests; some of them have become family friends and others even say that it’s just like coming home!
This of course makes us very happy and helps us get better at what we do.
